Table Rock Lake is a lake that spans more than 43 000 acres. Its waters are held back by a dam of the same name. The Table Rock Lakeshore has been converted into a park, where people can go to fish, picnic, and more.

While you’re visiting the Table Rock Lake, you may also want to go for a swim in the beach. It is always fun to spend time near the sun, sand and sea, especially with your family. Table Rock Lake has its own beach called the Moonshine Beach, which you can go to for free as well.

Aside from Table Rock Lake, there is another lake in Branson called Lake Taneycomo. Like Table Rock Lake, it is also a good place for fishing and picnicking. In fact, the lake is a well known fishing spot. Aside from these, visitors can also ride a boat on the lake, hike, and dive.

A 1.5 mile long boardwalk runs along Lake Taneycomo. It is a good place to hike especially when you are hiking with your family because it is level and easy to walk through. When walking along the boardwalk, there are a lot of beautiful sights to see. People will be able to see the Branson Landing Fountains. The Branson Landing Fountains feature a light and music show exhibited alongside water fountains shooting geysers 120 feet up in the air and cannons shooting and spewing fire. The Branson Landing Cruises docks are also visible from the boardwalk. People can observe lake activity and boat traffic. It is also a good spot for bird watching because a lot of birds, such as buzzards, ducks, geese, and herons make their homes there.

There are discovery trolleys that run a fifteen minute loop around historic downtown Branson. Tourists can ride the green trolleys to have a good view of the entire historic downtown, Branson Landing, the convention center, Lake Taneycomo, and Owens Theatre, which is the first theater in Branson. People who want to shop or eat at Branson Landing can also use these trolleys as transportation.
