One of the most unique art events which is to be held in October this year in Branson, is the 2nd Annual Wood Carving Festival 2009. The venue for this unusual event is also as unique as the event itself-the phenomenal Titanic Museum in Branson, MO.
Titanic Museum's parking area will witness expert chainsaw handlers maneuvering their tools through logs and pieces of unshaped wood moulding them into art pieces and creating perfect geometric shapes.
This three-day event is certainly worth experiencing for people of all ages and especially for those who have missed the 1st Wood Carving Festival.
Chainsaw wood carvers from all over America will gather at a single place and you will have a golden opportuinity to see them at work! Over a span of three days be awe-inspired at the fine artistry of these specially gifted artisans.
The climax of this Annual Wood Carving Festival will be a 75-minute speed chainsaw wood carving event which is sure to give some nail-biting moments.
Families can look forward to a special annual family event which will be in the memory of those German passengers & crew who were onboard the ill-fated voyage.
